Family in India

An average family in India lives in a nuclear family. I am also living in a nuclear family having me my brother, my loving father and my caring mother. My grandparents also live with me. We live in a multi storeyed building. We live on the first floor whereas my grandparents live on the ground floor. In India houses are attached to each other in a single street. My both parents are working so I and my brother are usually alone in our house.
Roles of a teenager
Before any decision about the family the advice of the teenager is heard.
Generally, we are the peacemakers of our families.
Rights and Privileges
We are free to go anywhere without our parents after we become a little mature
We can choose what to choose as a career but with consultation to our parents.
Chores we must do
The basic thing that is expected from us is to study well and be a good and obedient student as well as son.
We are expected to help in small chores like setting up the dinner and collecting plates after it’s over and to go to the market and bring groceries and other things.
Spare time
I love to play video games, football, and listening music and read books.
We are expected to complete our homework also in the spare time.
So being a teenager not only means to enjoy and play but to shoulder responsibilities and trust.
