The people in
germany spend about 105 min. to eat a day.
Normally they begin
the day with a breakfast. They eat bread with some cheese or bacon, marmalade or other sweet things like „Nutella“.That's a nut-nougat crème.
During the week they eat between 6 o’clock and 8 o’clock. On Weekend they eat between 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock. And sometimes they bake or cook scrambled eggs.
Between 12 o'clock and 14 o'clock they have lunch. You can cook a soup, roast some meat or vegetables. At middy you have very much sorts of different dishes, but nearly they're hot. On Weekend many families don't have lunch because they have breakfast at 12 o'clock and two hours later nobody is hungry.
In
the evening you have a supper. Often you eat bread with
salad, salami, cheese or something else. It's similar to the breakfast
but you eat only a little bit. After that many people eats snacks
like crisps or chocolate. (made by Joana)

There are some differences between the food in the northeast and northwest of germany :
northwest:
-The northwest of Germany is characterized by the closeness to the northsea and baltic sea: Northgerman people eat much fish like plaice (Scholle), salmon (Lachs) and crabs (Krabben).

Many farmers run farms and fields. The products are bread, grains (Getreide), milk -> cheese, yogurt; meat (beef, pig, cow, turkey), vegetables and fruits (apple are very popular)
-A typical dessert is red fruit jelly, serve with milk oder whipped cream.
-Popular cakes are butter cakes and the "Franzbrötchen"

-The food there is more solid.
-Many special meath dishes: Knuckle (Eisbein), Cassel (Kassler), Rissole (Bulette)
-On the coast they eat also fish.
-Agriculture products are very often on the plates.See "northwest".
- This area is popular for pie: cream puff, pancake.

- Germany is with Switzerland the country with the most vegetarians at Europe.

-More women than men are vegetarian. But why? There's still the block meat makes strong and male. Also, the women have more charity for the animals.

The german cuisine sounds really interesting. It is completely different from Indian cuisine. And it was shoking to know that 6 million people are vegetarian!
