Balance of power / political system

In Germany it isn't possible for one person to decide on something alone. They're
always more persons involved. The graphic up there shows you how this system works.

History of Germany since 1949

After the 2nd worldwar Germany was destroyed and Germany was devided between
Russia, England, USA and French.
There were now 2 sides of Germany. The Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and the German Democratic Republic (GDR) which was controlled by Russia.
The FRG developed fast. A lot of flats were built and everyone had work in 1959. In contrast to that the economy in the GDR slowly recovered and the land of all farmers was disowned. Many East-Germans fled from the east side to the west side. But there were also some bad things in the FRG. The rich people became more and more superficial.   Maybe that´s the reason for our image in other countries. ;-)
After all that escapes the politicans needed an idea to prevent them. So they have built the German wall. In 1961 the wall devided Germany into two parts so that people couldn't flee from east to west now.

In the next 30 years a lot of protests against the wall were started and in 1990, exactly at the 3rd of October, the GDR joined the FRG.
This day is now the „German Unification Day“. Today Germany is one of the biggest economic powers. Germans are busy as a bee but sometimes also a little bit burgeois. An example is that a German works a lot. Sometimes they are thinkig to be the most important person of the world.

Important Political Agenda

Talking about Germany's political agenda, some of the most important topics are:
- the "flexicurity"
- equal opportunities for everyone
- health and safety
- good work for everybody
There have been a lot of political meetings between european politicians where Germany's Agenda plays a big role. Most of the other Countries are also following the footsteps of Germany. Every citizen must have the same chances and opportunities, everybody must work with other together and be sincere to his/her Neighbour, workplace and to his Country. In short, Germany's biggest Agenda is being social.

The problem with our Federal Presidents

A known saying in Germany is "the wolf in the sheepskin". It means that a bad thing is covered under a nice first look. Our Federal President had always said you must be good and be honest, but he himself wasn't right all the time and he didn't admit his mistakes.

Future of our country

Germany is on the right way to a perfect social Country. Youth and their support is also very present. But most of all, Germany is known to be very succesful Country which is ofcourse not the hardwork of one, but of a whole country. The seriousness of the German mentality towards work, education and justice is keeping the Country grow more and more effectivlly and successfully. If this growth continues like till Germany is going to be in my eyes a perfect place to live!
